What Grab the Mic looks like

Full program walkthrough · Spring 2026 Cohort

Built for real life,
not just the stage
Most programs prepare kids to speak when handed a mic. We prepare them to create their own moments in classrooms, conversations, job interviews, and life.
🎤

Beyond the Stage

We teach kids to speak confidently in everyday moments not just prepared presentations. Because life rarely hands you a script.

🧠

Think on Their Feet

Impromptu speaking, quick thinking, and pressure-tested confidence. Skills that work in classrooms, social settings, and beyond.

❤️

Speak from the Heart

Personality development at the core. We help kids find their authentic voice not a polished performance, but genuine self-expression.

🌟

Small Groups, Big Impact

Intimate cohorts of 15–25 students ensure every child is seen, heard, and coached not lost in a crowd.

Why We Started Grab the Mic

As parents, we raised our children with one core belief: your voice is your most powerful asset. We built habits of listening deeply, thinking clearly, and speaking authentically not just on a stage, but in every room they walked into.

As our kids prepared to leave for college, we realized these skills were rare. Most speaking programs teach kids to perform. Very few teach them to find their voice in everyday moments in a classroom disagreement, a job interview, a conversation with a stranger.

That gap is what we set out to fill. We believe every child has something worth saying. Our job is to help them say it.

Our background spans cultural diversity, professional leadership, and certified yoga instruction giving us a unique lens on confidence, presence, and authentic expression that goes far beyond any script or stage.
